The Poultry Stunner Evaluation Service

The poultry stunner evaluation service uses a novel
system to accurately measure and record the current and voltage delivered to individual birds in a multi-bird waterbath stunner. It can be used during normal processing, causing no disruption to standard line operations during production.
The logger utilises a bird in the circuit so for individual birds we can measure: RMS current, Peak current (every 100 ms), voltage and duration of stun.

The results can help:
Locate problem areas in the stunning bath such as pre-stun shocks and poor electrical contact.

Compare performance in operation of different stunners, settings and installation.

Obtain hard copy printout of stun profile for future comparisons.

Optimise stunner settings for different size and species of poultry.
